Nina Lutz

Nina Lutz is a Bay Area author-illustrator and children’s bookseller. Nina spent her childhood drawing animals, doodling on her class notes, and daydreaming.

Nina spends her days working at a bookshop in the children’s section and creating merchandise for the store. She is passionate about children’s literature and getting kids to read! When not at the bookstore, you can find her writing at home and drawing what makes her happy (specifically: anthropomorphic animals). Her illustrations are hand drawn and done primarily in pen and ink.

Besides art, Nina has a deep love for travel, learning about animals, and spending time in nature. She loves her goofy rescue mutt Rosie, who inspires much of her art.
